Projects / Royal Mail

Royal Mail

The feasibility and delivery of new build and refurbished Delivery Offices and Mail Centres as well as the disposal of various sites across the UK as part of regional strategies.

The Vision

To modernise and rationalise the network, reduce costs and increase efficiencies using fewer, larger hubs and better use of technology.

Our Role

We have managed projects across the framework including detailed operational planning and phasing and providing strategic advice particularly at the early stages of the Regional Strategies. We assembled a cohesive team of consultants in order to deliver full design services efficiently across the framework. A key element of our role is to coordinate the input of the various operational stakeholders to the brief and delivery strategy applicable to any project. Many projects involve extensions or alterations to existing operational premises and the introduction of state-of-the-art mechanised sorting systems, where business continuity is critical.
