Projects / The Monastery Manchester

The Monastery Manchester

The development of a viable business case, Heritage Lottery Funding support and the restoration and conversion of a Grade II* listed monastery into a conference and events venue

The Vision

To save the Grade II* listed church and Franciscan friary from falling into further disrepair, to safeguard its future and to help regenerate the surrounding area by creating a vibrant events and conference venue.

Our Role

We worked very closely with the Trust, guiding them through several attempts to establish a viable scheme that qualified for public and lottery funding. We were then appointed as project managers for the delivery of the project.
