Regeneration of the Southgate area of Bath, into a mixed use development, comprising of retail, residential and leisure areas, as well as providing state of the art transportation interchange
To empathetically regenerate Southgate, mirroring the historical beauty of Bath, for the local community and the residents of the city to enjoy.
Our appointment on this scheme came prior to planning consent being granted and we were able to support the client to help them devise a viable scheme and secure planning permission for it.
Our review of the development, included the establishment of a structure to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders for this complex mixed-use regeneration project.
We were able to save significant time and cost through the production of thoroughly integrated and managed programmes.
The City of Bath is classed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and as such the style of architecture and nature of the scheme attracted the attention of a plethora of interest groups. The sensitive architectural treatment was that of historic Georgian buildings and the influence of Palladio.
