Premier Inn, Salford Central Masterplan

This new 143-bed hotel for Premier Inn was the first development on the New Bailey area of the Salford Central Masterplan. New Bailey will form the business district of Salford Central providing office space, retail and leisure units.

The Salford Central Masterplan covers 17 hectares around the main road of Chapel Street, Salford Central Station and the Adelphi and Bexley Square Conservation Area. Chapel Street and New Bailey are the two major inter-dependent, yet individual and distinctive elements of the Salford Central development. The masterplan has been designed by Glenn Howells, RHWL and Urban Initiatives.

The Vision

To provide a vibrant new business district.

Our Role

Employer’s Agent on the construction of the hotel, as well as providing some pre-contract management in the finalisation of the design and specification with Premier Inn and Funder and coordinating the procurement of the Main Contractor.
