Old Vic Theatre, London

Programme to repair, restore and renovate one of the best-known and well-loved theatres in the world.

The Vision

The Old Vic is one of the best-known and most well-loved theatres in the world, synonymous with the greatest acting talent that Britain has ever produced. The restoration of the existing building presents a unique opportunity to create a new studio theatre and education space which will be designed to cater specifically for The Old Vic’s needs, including enhanced office and back of house space.

Our Role

In October 2012 we prepared a Property Strategy Report for The Old Vic and subsequently prepared a Business Case, setting out the scope and capital costs of the recommended restoration of the Theatre. These recommendations were taken forward by The Old Vic Theatre Trust Board.

We have recently been appointed to project manage the preparation of an outline design and planning application and listed building consent for the wholesale restoration of the Theatre.
