The Vision

To develop a cohesive identity for the Department of Engineering, improve the quality of learning and facilities and consolidate its presence within the University, the city and beyond. To provide an innovative centre for international level research.

Our Role

We managed the project from feasibility to completion and provided strategic advice throughout. We implemented a thoroughly considered ,complex phasing and decant plan to enable the department to function whilst the new buildings were being delivered. The site is located within the city centre and required extensive negotiations with the City Council and Network Rail. We led all communications with them and ensured that all stakeholders were managed appropriately.
