The Vision

To create a luxury country house hotel, in keeping with the 16th century building on the site, and complementing the Dorchester Collection’s property portfolio.

Our Role

We were appointed as project managers by the Dorchester Collection for this project, along with two of their other projects at the same time. Across the projects, common goals were set with a clear understanding of the objective of each individual project.  Our relationship with the client was strengthened through the range of projects we worked on, as we came to fully understand their goals and drivers.

As the project progressed we were able to offer further services to the client, such as coordination of the FF&E, early landscaping works and selection of the tennis court contractor. This enabled the client to focus on the running of their business and leave the detail safe.

Special Mention

Coworth Park House dates back to 1776, and was home to many Lords and members of royalty.  In 1957 it was converted into a Convent School and later into offices.  In 2001 the Dorchester Collection took over the building and has painstakingly recreated the Manor House and picturesque grounds to create a truly stunning country house hotel and spa.
