A new 9-storey, 620-space car park within the New Bailey area of the Salford Central Masterplan.
The high quality car park provides a crucial element in the New Bailey business district which is part of the larger vision outlined in the Salford Central Masterplan. Commercial units, hotels and restaurants will be delivered as part of the masterplan. The car park’s striking façade has been designed to complement the other individual buildings, all of which are designed by RHWL, and provide a distinctive landmark to this gateway site. The Salford Central Masterplan covers 17 hectares around the main road of Chapel Street, Salford Central Station and the Adelphi and Bexley Square Conservation Area. Chapel Street and New Bailey are the two major inter-dependent, yet individual and distinctive elements of the Salford Central development. The car park is the second element of the masterplan to be completed.
