The Herne Hill Velodrome Pavilion

Construction of new £1.5 million pavilion

The Vision

A new 2,928 sq ft pavilion to include a large multi-purpose room, a kitchen, a small meeting room and a viewing terrace, with changing rooms, showers, toilets, a medical room and a coaches’ office on the floor below.

The project, design by Hopkins Architects – the team behind 2012 Olympic Velodrome – will see the curved glulam roof extended to become a canopy for the viewing terrace and will become building’s major design feature. It will be supported by the six listed pillars that formed part of the velodrome’s original pavilion and are being retained under the new proposals.

The new pavilion is scheduled to open in early 2017.

Our Role

We are working with the wider project team to provide Project Management support for the delivery of the new pavilion.
