BCO Award winning fit-out of two floors of a prime city centre new build development and relocation of 130 staff from a number of different locations
To accommodate an expanding business, foster new ways of working in an open-plan environment and to encourage and facilitate inter-team and inter-departmental communication through the provision of shared refreshment areas, break-out spaces and a café. To create high-quality client-facing areas and create privacy where necessary within sound-proofed meeting rooms.
We provided project management services. As part of our role we developed an initial brief that enabled Pinsent Masons to identify and understand the key business challenges they would face. This led to the development of a clearer design brief and a robust design that met their requirements.
We were able to reduce the programme by using a hybrid two-stage procurement approach which maximised the rent free period and saved money for the client. At the outset of the project we identified the total project budget, not just fit-out costs, which allowed early market testing to take place, therefore providing a greater level of cost certainty from the start.
