Pleased to announce the new and emerging practices to watch out for ... as nominated by you!
Buro Four has always worked hard to support and promote the work of new and emerging practices. It is why we ran the ‘Ones to Watch’ campaign – an open call for nominations to see who the industry see as the up and coming design talent.
Following hundreds of nominations, we are pleased to announce the top five practices to watch over the next few years:
Fathom designs beautiful, logical buildings with a focus on complex briefs and sensitive sites. Depth is at the core of what we do: depth of research, of thinking, depth of curiosity, understanding and collaboration. We listen closely and analytically. We interrogate the brief, finding the physical and cultural essence of each site to unlock its potential. Read more about Fathom.
Feilden Fowles is an award-winning London based architectural practice, founded by Fergus Feilden and Edmund Fowles and was recently named BD Young Architect of the Year 2016. The practice specialises in delivering socially and environmentally sustainable buildings across a variety of sectors and aims to make architecture that is rich in character and distinct in identity. Projects are inspired by local vernacular and apply innovations in sustainable technologies and construction techniques to existing and proven typologies. Read more about Feilden Fowles.
Founded by Alan Dempsey in 2008, Nex— designs exquisitely crafted architecture that connects people to place. Our mission is to create transformational spaces that enhance people’s lives, improve organisational performance, and connect communities. Read more about Nex—.
SODA is a cross-disciplinary architecture and design firm. We don’t have a house style. We don’t do bland or formulaic. We don’t make assumptions. SODA approach every project with fresh ideas and new perspectives. We push boundaries and rouse ambition; working with people who inspire, on projects that excite. Read more about SODA.
Tigg + Coll Architects
