Arts and culture can provide a great sense of enrichment and inspiration to people's lives. As such, we have been delighted to have worked with some of the most iconic and forward thinking theatres and arts organisations in the country to help them deliver a better performance and visitor experience
We are currently working with Chester Theatre, The National Theatre and The Old Vic to help deliver outstanding facilities, an enhanced experience for visitors and performers and improve the sustainability and resilience of their own organisations.
The National Theatre
The National Theatre’s ‘NT Future’ redevelopment programme will transform the theatre for artists and audiences. New and upgraded spaces include the Clore Learning Centre; a new production building, the refurbished Dorfman (formerly Cottesloe) Theatre; an entrance pavilion; and a new high-level walkway, allowing audiences the opportunity to see how theatre is made.
The Old Vic
We have been working closely with The Old Vic at a strategic level to help develop a property strategy for the restoration of the theatre and enhancement of facilities. The Old Vic are passionate about making great theatre which is accessible for all and providing education, support and inspiration to nurture the next generation of theatre talent.
The Chester Theatre, Library and Cinema project for Cheshire West and Chester Council aims to provide a place where audiences will be entertained, inspired and challenged. The project involves the restoration and conversion of the Grade II listed former Odeon building into a cultural facility comprising a large auditorium, a cinema, dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces and an integrated library.
“Buro Four’s contribution really assured the Board as to the feasibility of our ambitions for the building and fundraising; there is a great sense of confidence in the team.” Kate Varah, The Old Vic
