Old Vic New Voices Theatre group, performed amongst the crowd at our latest event, held at Cafe Royal hotel
Wednesday 22 May 2013
We were delighted to welcome so many of our key clients at our event at Café Royal last night. The evening was a great success, with tours of the building running throughout the evening and entertainment from the fantastic Theatre group ‘Old Vic, New Voices’.
Old Vic New Voices, who for the evening immersed themselves amongst the crowd, broke into monologues throughout the evening from Sonnets 8 and 113, Sonnets 18, 2, 17 and Romeo and Juliet, much to the surprise and delight of the guests!
The building which house Café Royal hotel is owned by our client The Crown Estate, has recently undergone an extensive expansion and refurbishment programme by hotel developer and operator, Alrov Property and Lodgings.. The Grade II listed, 5 star hotel opened to the public in December 2012, the luxurious Spa area, which will be the final area of the hotel to complete, will be opening later this year.
The redevelopment of Café Royal is part of The Crown Estate’s Regent Street Vision Investment Strategy, to regenerate the area in line with the values of quality, heritage, style and success. We are working with The Crown Estate on a number of projects in the area; a full article on the quality of the regeneration of the Regent Street area, will be featured in our forthcoming Journal next month.
Café Royal Hotel is part of an international group of hotels called The Set. Other hotels in the group include The Conservatorium, which opened in Amsterdam last year and The Lutetia in Paris, which will undergo refurbishment later this year.
Since its doors opened to the public in December 2012, the hotel is beginning to regain its reputation, as the place to visit amongst the World’s rich and famous!
