Buro Four at ICPMA 2017

ICPMA welcomed Clive Birch and Christina Stoltz to its conference in Hamburg. Over 50 international delegates debated how old buildings can continue to be valuable parts of modern cities, and methods of combining historic facilities with new developments.

ICPMA, the International Construction Project Management Association (www.icpma.net) recently welcomed Clive Birch and Christina Stoltz to its conference in Hamburg. Over 50 international delegates debated how old buildings can continue to be valuable parts of modern cities, and the best ways of combining historic facilities with new developments.

Along with Paul Jozefowski from the National Theatre London, they presented a keynote entitled "It's not a temple with a door, it's already open", describing how new life has been introduced into this landmark building to ensure it responds to the opportunities of modern day life, and the customers it serves.

Nick Smith, President of ICPMA, said, "This is an exemplar of what can be achieved by co-operation and vision: much can be learned from this team."
